Glutathione is an antioxidant your cells build from three amino acids, helping neutralize damaging molecules and supporting immune cells. Research on immune health is limited: in one trial of 52 people, antioxidant enzyme levels went up, and so did natural killer cell activity, a measure of immune defense. Beyond that, a separate study of 39 people found no clear difference in DNA damage.
