Editorial policy and corrections
Health information has to earn trust. This is how the site is made, who is responsible for it, and what happens when something is wrong.
Who is responsible
Dr. Grey AI is built and maintained by Seth Pratt, a Certified Health and Wellness Coach (a certificate from AFPA, the American Fitness Professionals & Associates). Seth is a health coach, not a physician or other licensed clinician, and he does not diagnose or treat anyone. This site reports what published studies found and how strong that evidence is. It is not medical advice.
How pages are made
Each supplement, peptide and condition page is built from a table of outcomes. Every outcome has an evidence grade, a direction, and the PubMed studies it rests on. The grades and directions are explained on How we grade.
The summary at the top of a page is written from that page's own outcome table and protocol, with AI assistance, and passes an automated wording check that blocks claims to treat or cure a disease. A summary cites the studies behind its main claim.
Protocol pages list supplements that have been studied for a condition, with the doses used. They describe research. They are not treatment plans, and they don't replace care from a clinician.
What we don't do
- We don't say a supplement treats, cures or prevents a disease.
- We don't show a study count for a citation that doesn't link to a paper.
- We don't label an effect as harmful or helpful when the data doesn't say which it is.
- We don't print a number on a page by hand. Counts come from the database when the page is built.
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Nothing on this page is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
What “last updated” means
The date at the foot of a page is the day that page's data last changed: its outcomes, grades, citations or summary. It is not a claim that a person re-read the page that day.
Money and independence
Some pages link to retailers (Fullscript, iHerb or Thorne), and we may earn a commission when you buy through those links. It doesn't change your price. Grades, directions and the choice of supplements in a protocol come from the evidence data and are not influenced by which products earn a commission. See the disclaimer for the full disclosure.
Corrections
If you find an error, such as a wrong grade, a wrong direction, a study that doesn't support the finding, or a broken link, email hello@drgrey.ai with the page address and, if you can, the study.
- We check the claim against the cited studies.
- If it is wrong, we fix the data. The page's “last updated” date changes when we do.
- If the studies disagree with each other, the page says so and doesn't pick a side.
Not medical advice
This site is for education. It can't take your health, your medicines or your circumstances into account. Talk to a qualified clinician before starting, stopping or changing any supplement or medicine.
