Sulbutiamine

Sulbutiamine is a lab-made compound built from two thiamine (vitamin B1) molecules, a form that dissolves in fat and reaches the brain more easily than plain thiamine. The little research so far looked at people with type 2 diabetes, and the evidence is very limited: blood glucose and nerve-related symptoms showed no clear difference. That comes from one small open trial of 30 people, so it says little beyond that group.
