Bushman's Hat is a succulent plant from southern Africa, traditionally chewed by hunters to take the edge off hunger. In a small group of 49 people with overweight, blood bilirubin went up, though the evidence is limited, and appetite showed no clear difference. That is a very thin base, so it says little about whether the plant lives up to its reputation.
