Alanylglutamine

Alanylglutamine is a compound of two amino acids, alanine and glutamine, that the body splits to supply glutamine, a fuel for immune and gut cells. People mostly look at it for exercise fatigue, and fatigue symptoms improved in a small group of 10 basketball players, though the evidence is limited. Other small studies found no clear difference in heart rate, a stress hormone in cyclists, or immune cells in people with HIV.
